Birthday on 29 February

I always find that those who born on the 29 of February are special. Well, they only have their birthday date printed on the calendar once in 4 years. In other words, they are actually get a year older every 4 years. Hahaha...

Anyway, i just want to wish my dear friend, Calvin a Happy Happy Birthday and may all your wishes come true - even though we do not have 29 February this year

Make a wish and dont count the total number of candles on the cake... you're not young haha

Backache to start the Fire Piggy Year

Another ordinary Sunday where I normally do some household chores like ironing clothes and clean some part of the house. As usual, being away from home for almost 9 years, have been doing this myself for very long time. That’s why I always enjoy my mom to be around as she will always want to help me with all the ironing and cleaning (Such a bad though I have – anyway, I missed those day when I was staying with my parents… everything was taking care of ). Fortunately, I have a great housemate who also taking some of the responsibilities to keep the house clean and tidy.

Didn’t sleep well for almost one week since the second day of Chinese New year. Something terrible happened….I hurt my back in KK.

I went to see a doctor and he said I sort of sprains/strains my back that causes the muscle pain. Thought it was just a simple backache but it got worsen until I asked the doctor to get me an injection. Thought that was going to cure me instantly. The pains continue up to today. Anyway, without any delay, I went to see another doctor yesterday and asked him to diagnose where the hell of the aches and pains come from. Same answer given…. I must been sprained or strained my back from carrying heavy things. I do remember that the only heavy things that I carried was my luggage weighted around 20kg when I was on my way back to KK for CNY. My brother even told me that “….that’s a sign of aging”… no doubt I am 27 now which I cannot expect I can be as healthy as I was 18….hahaha.

Anyway, listen to the doctor advices, got myself in medication – all kinds of pain killer pills. Besides, I also manage to got myself stock up a lot of SALONPAS – from Hisamitsu.

The advertisement at the TV pretty convincing. Well, I would say it helps to relief some aches and pains. I cant sleep without it. I still continue using it. Hope things going well and I hope I can get well ASAP!!. I cant concentrate on my work and it’s so not convenient walking around with an aching back. Worst when my colleagues kind of scared me whether I got a “split disc” (don’t know whether it spell like this”

Well, today is the 8th day of Chinese New Year, some say I started the year with a lousy bad back pain which mean I will have lots of sickness for the entire 2007. Some of my friends kind of say… well, it’s not too bad that the small back pain kind of protected me for worst accidents. No idea which one to believe but I do believe that I have not taking good care of my health.

If only I have been doing a lot of exercise and not being a workaholics, I might have been having a great new year and ready for all the challenges for 2007. It sort of reminded me more about how important health is.

So, I have decided that I must sign up for a membership at the nearest GYM and I must go for exercise for at least 3-4 times a week. This will only happen when I am fully recover. I hope I will get well ASAP.

I also read some articles on how to take good care of my back. For all my friends, please do read as you will not want a back pain! It’s killing! It will disturb and mess up your life. This is the first time I hurt my back. I don’t want to have a second time. Imagine when you’re invited to an open house and you cant even drive comfortably. I went to my colleagues house yesterday for open house and with more than 4 patches of SALONPAS on my back. That’s pretty awful especially I can’t sit and stand comfortably. What a horrible experience…..

Health is wealth…..always in thought

Taking A Long Break

Finally.....i will be going back to my hometown for a long Chinese New Year break - 7 days in total. Anyway, i dont like the 2.5 hours flight. Kind of making me sick all the time. Normally i will just grab a magazine or a books to read. Currently reading a book from a local writer - HONK! If you're Malaysian By Lydia Teh. It's about the author point of view towards the Malaysian Society. It's very funny and true.

It's a yearly trip for me and will catch up with my friends and family in my alma matter state - Sabah. Hope everything turn out alright....Just need a break after a long challenging year.....

Myself Lately

I have been very weird and different lately. People around me might not notice that but i do. My stress level reach the the highest level. This have not happen to me before. My mind can't stop thinking about a lot of things - just name it my career, love, family, financially, passion and work. It reached until an extend where i dont know whether i still owe my brain and mind. I am kinda seeing things very differently. I can be very positive and the other way round i can be damn negative. My friend told me that i need a break and time to relax myself. I wish i could.

If given another opportunity to start over, i wish i can be a Botanist. Someone who talks to plant and most of the time my mind will be "green" and relax. Human can be very complicated. The kind of feeling i hate most is to have MIXTURE of feeling about something. It always makes me like i am in a middle of something which i cannot achieve what i want.

Perhaps it's really the turning point of my life. Some say i lack of spiritual and moral support - which might be true.

Passion of doing somethings is not enough - it comes with opportunity, life and luck.....

Ammonite Pendant

I have been searching for an Ammonite Pendant for sometime. Everytime i stop by a crystal shop i cant find one that i like. Manage to find one finally.......

Here are some history and Feng Shui usage of an Ammonite which i got from a website - earthfengshui

Not only is Ammonite important in Western civilization, but in Eastern culture as well. In the Orient, they call Ammonite the 'Kirin Stone', because the color pattern of the stone is similar to the scales of the auspicious mythical beast called the Kirin. The beast had the body of a deer, with the face and scales of a dragon. This creature is meant to bring good fortune and luck to all who see it.

Particularly important are the many colors of Ammonite. The multiple layers of color inside the stone is what creates the sparkling radiance. By examining the stone, one will see the seeds of seven distinct colors: ruby crimson, fiery orange, amber yellow, emerald green, jade, azure, and mauve. Hence, it has been appropriately named the 'Seven Color Prosperity Stone' by some Feng Shui masters.

From a Feng Shui perspective (the art of harmonizing nature) each color of Ammonite represents a different meaning. For example, Crimson stimulates growth and energy; Orange generates creativity, and increased libido; Green improves wisdom, intellect, and promotes entreprenerialship; and Yellow improves wealth. It is believed that the best combination of color for the stone is red, green, and yellow, for it represents a balance and signifies growth and richness. Other Feng Shui effects of the stone include the reversing of negatives into positives, and the reduction of the body's toxicity. It also promotes the flow of Ch'i (life force) through the body, enhancing wellbeing. Not only does it bring balance to the person's body, but also to that person's surroundings as well, such as the home or office. When the stone is placed in the home, it promotes a happy family, and when it is placed in the office, it promotes good business dealings. In essence, anyone who finds or possesses one of the stones is entitled to wondrous prosperity and fortune.

Also wrapped in the Ammonite is a harmonious balance of nature's five elements of metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. Therefore, Ammonite possesses special Feng Shui ability, expanding forces, and power. To those who possess it, and when placed in the household, brings balance and harmony to the home. Because all five elements are represented and compatible in Ammonite, it preordains the stone's auspiciousness.

From a scientific perspective, Ammonite is the fossilized rainbow-colored remains of a nautilus-like creature that existed over 70 million years ago, thus making it the oldest gemstone we know of today. The Feng Shui masters believe that because it is such an old gemstone with an organic origin, it has absorbed the plasmic energy from the universe since the beginning of time. The universe's forces follow the Ammonite's spiral from the periphery toward the center. And this centrifugal energy will then be radiated back through the stone, generating invisible spiritual, spiraling, and perpetual movements, bringing its owners health, wealth, and enlightenment.

Friday 2 February 2007

It's 2 of February 2007 again. Nothing special but just double 2. In Feng Shui, number 2 represent the "sickness star" which will actually be located at the center of the flying star chart for 2007. According to some feng shui guru, this year there will be a lot of illness and accidents. So we need to make sure that whatever we do must give more priority to our health first.

The following quoted from the art of fengshui website

Prosperous Stars ( #8, #9, #1 )

Locate these corners with prosperous stars and activate them correctly to harness the beneficial Qi.

5 Yellow Star ( #5 )
5 Yellow, a misfortune star has arrived in the Northeast Sector for year 2007. It is one of the most dangerous star that indicates accidents, illness and just bad luck all round. Do not attempt any groundbreaking, renovation or drilling in this sector as you will disturb the 5 yellow. An auspicious time and date selection must be given to perform these activities.

If your main door or bed is positioned in the sector, you will need to weaken its negativity with Metal cures

For professional Level only :
With an auspicious date selected, that combines both Heaven Qi and Earth Qi, one can revolve 5 yellow poisons into medicine and enhance human luck
in the Northeast Sector.

7 Robbery Star ( #7 )
An inauspicious star located at North Sector this year, brings gossip, accidents, financial losses, burglary and robbery. Do not activate this sector and avoid placing metal element in this sector.

Three Killing
Three Killing occupies 75 degree of a compass reading ( 5 mountains ) in the West Sector. Without proper time given, do not attempt any groundbreaking in this area as it can bring misfortunes like financial loss, injury and sickness.

Grand duke Jupiter ( Tai Sui )
Grand duke, that occupies 15 degree of the Northwest sector ( NW 3 ) should not be disturbed at any cost. It will experience defeat, obstacles and loss if you confront it with activites like groundbreaking.

Do not sit and face towards this direction in your office. As an alternative, sit with your back towards this direction for support.

Age Break ( Sui Po )
Age Break occupies 15 degree of Southeast sector ( Opposite Grand duke Jupiter ). Do not attempt any groundbreaking.

It's a fruitful day i would say as i have been out for the whole day from 8am till the next day 2am. Work & catch up with friends discuss about life, management related and work related.

A good night as well.

Cheers

Dont Want To Be Reminded Again

Here comes again. Some thoughts in my mind which makes me feel stressed and sad. I cant describe how i feel. A mixture kind of feeling in me. It's about work, relationship and friendship particularly.

Whatever it's, something just appeared in my head and reminded me on a very sad things that happened in November 2006. The incident actually reminded me that we cannot expect anything from a friend and the best thing of being a friend is to have no expectation. Anyway, the enthusiasm and the whole friendship started when i was still working in KL as an academician. Things going fine even until i moved back to JB due to better career opportunity. Exchanging letters and cards are something that we do. She is a pretty open minded person and i would say a real friend who can be everyone's best friends.

Anyway, things just don't turn out right on my last visit to KL on the 28th of October 2006. I still remember that night. The whole friendship just "shipped" away. Without a reason and the friendship just ended with a line of words from her"the only things that caused the friendship to end is that you're always expecting from a friend, to be a friend, you must not have expectation" That was the last sentence from her.

The more i expect, the more disappointment i have.

I just want someone to walk beside me and be my friend.......

Heart with fear
